IE 6.0 is still top share of Chinese browser market.

According to the data of Baidu flow research institute published, IE 6.0 is still top share of Chinese browser market.

It's the data of last month(06/01/2012 - 06/30/2012), but the market share of IE series are 58.78% at the same period in total. Furthermore, Qihu 360(奇虎360) is also basically IE based browser, so it can be said IE dominate over 80% of Chinese internet browser market.

Well, how about the other internet browser? Google Chrome have 6.18% of market share, but Firefox(Chinese: 火狐) is out of this data, and they are put on the other...

The similar result can be seen also by the another company's report.

This report was published by CNZZ, but the market share of IE 6 was 21.27% at June 2012. The market share of IE series was 51.49% in total, and Qihu 360 was 26.94%, so it still can be said that IE dominate around 80% of Chinese internet browser market.

This report also said that the market share of Chrome or Firefox was very few, respectively 2.68% and 1.78%...

If you are the person who would like to enter Chinese web service market, you cannot still ignore the support of Internet Explorer...

China Mobile still dominate 65% of Chinese mobile whole market, but 3G market is in the situation of competitive.

Big 3 career(China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom) released the report of each mobile user condition in China as of  June 2012.

According to these report, recent market share of Chinese mobile user is as follows:

User number of each mobile career as of June

China Mobile   : 683 million

China Unicom  : 219 million

China Telecom : 144 million

Actually China Mobile still dominate 65% of Chinese mobile market.

But on the other hand, we can find the different result on the data that is focusing 3G users.

The number of 3G users each mobile career as of June

China Mobile  : 67.079 million

China Unicom : 57.53 million

China Telecom : 50.96 million

China Mobile have 38.21% share of 3G market in China, but its number is much less than whole market share. And China Unicom have 32.77% of market share, China Telecom have 29.03% of market share, so it can be said that focusing 3G market in China is in the situation of competitive.

The one of reason is related to each method of 3G communication. As you know, each 3 careers adopted the method of 3G communication is as follows:

- China Mobile    TD-SCDMA
- China Unicom   W-CDMA
- China Telecom  CDMA2000

W-CDMA and CDMA2000 are the communication method that is adopted by many companies in the world wide, but TD-SCDMA is the standard that is used only in China.

So in case that foreign mobile device companies would like to enter Chinese market with China Unicom or China Telecom, there are no need to customize their mobile devices basically. But in case that they would like to enter Chinese market with China Mobile, they have to add or change to TD-SCDMA chip on their mobile devices.

It is also the fact that China Mobile have less kind of 3G mobile devices compared to China Unicom and China Telecom.

This year or next year will start LTE service in China, but China Mobile have a plan to advance the standard of TD-LTE. China Unicom and China Telecom have not decided that they adopt which standard at this time. So we have to keep attention this trend the same as always.

I'm not sure that its slow down is caused that users are boring Weibo or there are other reasons at this time. So we have to keep attention its trend.

And SNS have 250,510,000 users at the same period, but its growth rate is 2.6% compared to the end of 2011. About SNS, its growth rate of 2010-2011 was 3.9%, so it can be said that its growth is remained flat.

CCW Research estimate market scale of the enterprise social networking will be around 100 million RMB in 2012 in China.

I said that 2012 is the start year for the enterprise social networking in China before, it was proved by the report from CCW Research. They recently published a report written about the enterprise social networking market in China, they estimate its growth rate will be 246% in 2012.

This report said its market scale in 2010 was 8.168 million RMB, in 2011 was 26.805 million RMB, but it will be 92.752 million RMB in 2012.

Now, as I said before that many company start to provide the enterprise social networking products in China, such as "Crowdroid for Business(Anhui OSS)", "Kingdee Weibo(Kingdee)", "Social Enterprise(800app)", "Tita(Beisen)" and so forth.

Then how about the foreign company such as "Chatter(Salesforce)", "Yammer(Microsoft)" and so forth?

It's no doubt that they are watching for an opportunity to enter Chinese enterprise social networking market.

And this report also said that this market will achieve rapidly growth in this two years in China. Why? Its reason why Weibo and SNS already penetrated to many people in China, and its style is suitable to Chinese habit and preference.

Eguan published the report of "Q1 mobile device sales share in China" as follows:

Company         2012Q1      2011Q1     Year on Year
#1   Samsung          20.7%         21.4%            -   0.7%
#2   Nokia              13.6%         32.2%            - 18.6%
#3   Huawei             8.3%           5.5%            +  2.7%
#4   ZTE                 7.3%           4.4%            +  2.9%

Basically, domestic company except OPPO increase their sales share compared to previous year, and foreign company decrease their sales share.

Especially, Nokia's range of reduction is too much(32.2% -> 13.6%).Nokia was the top share mobile maker in China till 2010, but after Android and iPhone appeared, their market share continued decreasing.

They already released some Windows phone devices in China, but it looks like that their environment in this market was not changed at all.

Does they Nokia have the next or another move? We have to keep attention to their actions as ever.
